Founding trustee of the TCD Trust, Di Thomas, will be taking part in the Freedom Challenge to raise funds for the TCD Trust - make a donation.
The Freedom Challenge is a mountain bike race which starts in Pietermaritzburg and ends in Cape Town. The 2300km course crosses a number of mountain ranges, conservation areas and national parks in South Africa:
- Maluti Drakensberg Transfronteir area
- Mountain Zebra and Addo Elephant national parks,
- Baviaanskloof wilderness,
- Ntsikeni, Malekhalonyane, Swartberg, Gamkasberg, Anysberg, Vrojlikheid and Limietberg provincial nature reserves;
- provincial parks, private nature reserves and the Maluti Drakensberg transfronteir park.
