Schools-4-Schools Joins Forces with TCD Trust

The TCD Trust has teamed up with a UK charity - SCHOOLS-4-SCHOOLS.
The trust will be acting as the on-the-ground agents, identifying projects, overseeing operations and allocating funding.

“Africa my bra” and “Africa shu” are the names chosen for the unique beaded bra straps and barefoot shoes made by previously unemployed African women. The TCD Trust is proud to support - and to have the support of - this awesome initiave started by Dahlene Griffiths.

The Trust is collecting old and unwanted clothes from guests which stay at hostels, backpackers and guesthouses in Cape Town. You can help this project by putting a TCD Trust “Collection Bin” in your establishment.

Donation Enables Necessary Security Installations at Chris Hani School

Baukje Kingma and Jogchum Reitsma visited Cape Town recently and upon return from their holiday, decided to donate all money collected at their wedding ceremony to the trust’s Chris Hani School project. Many Thanks Baukje Kingma and Jogchum Reitsma for the kind donation of €400.
